Assassino, a world famous jewelrer from Japan, will be participating in this year's show.  The owner is a good friend of mine.  He used to live in Italy and he has some crazy craftman skills.

His new product  "Nude Jewelry" was feature in Nikita Magazine (Japan's leading female fashion magazine).   He was also featured in Vouge Magazine Italy as well.

"Nude Jewelry" is a 24K gold instant taoo.

It's pretty sick. 

    

What I do. / 今日一日。

It's been a week after I came back to LA from Greece.  For a while, I was excited to come back to LA, but now its all normal again.  It's good that Im home, but at the same time, I kinda miss Athens and Mykonos.

ロスに戻ってきて一週間ですか。　相当慣れましたね。　感覚が普通に戻ってきちゃって、面白くないな。　やっぱり非日常が一番面白い。　　

I was talking to some people at the party tonight and I realized that there are many people that knows me, but dont know exactly what I do.  I cannot blame them, because I do a lot of shit.  I think I will take this oppotunity and explain what I do for living.

I own a company called Tokyo Drive Productions.   We provide editorial contents to magazines.  We give ideas to magazines, and we provide pictures and articles.  Editors dont have to do shit, we privide them everything they need.   

We are also an agent for some racing teams.  We manage the drivers and also go get sponsors for them.  We have gotten some cool sponsors like Eneos oil (the biggest oil company in Japan.  They sponsor Formula 1 team) and Blackflys sunglasses.

I do much more staff, but I guess I will explain those later.  I seriously think I own the coolest business in the world.  Well, I know this guy, he makes 1 million dollars a day, so maybe my job is the second coolest in the world.

I got a new ride the other day.  New car key and new notebook.

ウェストLAもなかなかイイね。　普通にモデルの子とかスタバにいるからね。

やっぱりロスのこういうトコロは好きだなー。

It's my first time driving convertible, so I am pretty excited about that. 

I just got the Lexus, but I am already looking at BMW M6......

さて、初めてコンバーチブルに乗ってます。

すっごくイイ！　ロスにピッタリ！

でも、すでにM6に目移りしてたりして……。

だってレクサスはバックシートが狭い……。　トービンも後ろの席ぢゃ狭そうだね。

Today, I had a meeting with Make One.  Really fun guy to hang out with.  Full of wizdom.

 

今日は朝からMake Oneと打ち合わせ。　彼は先週、キュレーターとしてKaran Koronっていう展示会を成功させたばっかり。   色々セレブリティーも来たみたいで、なかでもロビン・ウィリアムスが来たってのにビックリ。 エー、恥ずかしながらボクが作った作品も展示されていました。　

And then I visited old of friend of mine.  He owns Porsche Carrera and Cayen.  I guess he he likes Porshce. 

昼は友達のショップへ遊びに（あ、仕事も兼ねてるか。　ウチの商品も扱ってもらってるし）。　

彼はこんなTシャツ着てるけど、この黒いポルシェ（カレラ）の他にも、ポルシェ ・カイエンも所有してるっていうブルジョワくん。　

毎回色んなアイディアをくれる、貴重な友達です。

After that, me and bunch of my homies went to Slick x Disney art exhibition in Hollywood.  I really like Slick's piece, so I was very happy to see a lot of his works there.  His shit is hella tight.(The picture shown here is "Micky painting Micky" by Steven Daily)

夜はSlickとディズニーの展示会へ。

Then we went to visit DJ Cheapshot at nacional.

で、DJチープショットんトコへ遊びに。

誰もいないように見えるけど、フロアは結構人入ってました。

We ran into Hahn and James there.   It was pretty fun night.

ロスに戻って、翌日から早速打ち合わせ。　これはギリシャに行く前からアポってあったもので。

だだっ広いビルの前にはオーナーのメルセデスが2台。　黒いSに黒いSL。

アメリカの輸入車業界最大の問屋。　シャレんならない大きさです。　

Friday, we went to The Container Store.

It's a cool shop.

金曜日は、まずコンテナ・ストアへ。

I bought a legendary notebook.

で、ヘミングウェイやピカソも愛用してたっていうノートを買って。

前から欲しかったヤツ。

Then we went to GreyOne in Pasadena.

そして、パサデナで一番オサレっつーグレイ・ワンに。

なんも買わなかったけど。

ま、ここは色々と面白いね。　ショップとしてつーか、プロモーターや人として。

We went to Hollywood park and run into old friend of ours.

夜は、某所に飲みに行ったら（飲み屋ぢゃないところ。　結構ハプニングなスポットで通いそう）、たまたまショップオーナーの友達に遭遇。　明日ショップでBBQやるから来いよと。

On Saturday, I was standing in line for San-To-Ka in O.C., thats the best Ramen in Los Angeles, and somebody called me "Kenta!".  It was Micky from Falken Tire.  He is the manager of Falken Motorsports now. 

I think Scott is wearing Falken shirts......  Who do you work for Scott? 

土曜は朝からO.C.へ。　

山頭火に並んでたら、Kenta!って声が。　

声の主は、ファルケンのミッキー！　

ミッキーは今、ファルケンUSAのモータースポーツのマネージャー。　

フォーミュラDもD1GPも、全部彼が仕切ってる。　３、４年前かな？　まだミッキーがファルケンで働き始めた頃からの付き合い。　最近はサーキットであっても、ミッキーは超忙しいし、ボクも働いてるからなかなかゆっくり話す機会って無かった。　だから、昨日は偶然だけど、有意義な時間が過ごせました。　ちなみに、ボクはスコットと一緒にいたんだけど、スコットはファルケンのコンペティターであるKumhoタイヤの社員。　しかもマーケティング。　なのに、たまたまファルケンのシャツを着てたっていう。　ま、ファルケンの社員とKumhoの社員が仲良くしててもいいでしょ！　色々情報交換できたみたい。

Then I met up with Jay, Alex and his GF from Seattle and went to BBQ as we promised the day before.

で、その後は、昨日約束したとおりBBQへ。　

某ショップの裏庭でやったんだよね。　

Then we went to Kitson.

シアトルから来た友達、アレックスと彼女のHanaと一緒に、Kitsonへ。　あ、BBQにも一緒にね。

Then to AG jeans.

で、訳ありのAGビバリーヒルズ店へ。

JDM Jen gave me a chocolate.

で、JDMジェンが……。　

Then to Brooklyn Project.

ブルックリン・プロジェクトへ行って。

ジョン（モヒカンのほう）と昼に会うのってほとんどない。　

彼はショップ店員やりながら、クラブのプロモーターやってるから。　大抵パーティーでしか会わない。

Oh, then we went to Nike the Point.  Black basketball court.

それから、Nikeのポイントへ。　黒いバスケットボールコートってのもカッコいいかも。

Tobin Honda, Char, Rob, Jay, Alex, Hana and I went to eat Sushi for Alex's b-day.

夜はアレックスのバースデーってことで、某すし屋へ。　

値段もリーズナブルだし、よく行くトコ。

Then we went to drink in Downtown L.A.

それから、ダウンタウンLAにある某バーへ。

高ぇ。

Char always says "Ona-ka Sui-ta" that means "I'm hungry" in Japanese......

シャーリーン。　飲んだ後はいつも「オナカ　スイター」って言ってんの。　昨日は言ってなかったな。

木曜にロスに戻ってから、まぁまぁ動いてます。　

   

         

Greece trip / ギリシャ出張

ギリシャへ行ってきました。

I just came back from Greece yesterday.

初ギリシャだったのですが、完全にハマッてしまいました。

景色の美しさに、

人の良さに、

食べ物の美味しさに、

その全てにハマりました。

そして、やっぱり異文化（人や物など全て）に触れることは大切だと再認識しました。

It was my first time going to Greece, and I completely fell in love with the place.    People were nice, the food was awesome, it is a beautiful country, I just love Greece.

　

アテネ近郊のサーキットにて、ドリフトのイベントを行ったのですが、ドライバーたちはもう超人気！　ピットの周りにできたこの人だかりを見てください！写真やサインをネダるファンが後を絶ちませんでした。

Team Orange did a drifting show at the race track close to Athens.  Look how many people are waiting to get the autographs from the drivers and take picture with them.　

イベントには色んな人たちが来てくれて。

フェラーリが大好きなボクにはたまりませんね。

サーキットはアテネ近郊。

平日は仕事をし、ウィークエンドはミコノス島へ。

ヨーロッパではイビザが有名ですが、今一番アツイのはミコノスです。

ギリシャで一番、

ヨーロッパで一番、

いや、世界で一番美しいと言われています。

スゲー、ヤベーとしか言えませんでした……。　感動の景色です。

建物の色は白、シェイドの色は青と法律（条例？）で決められています。

とにかく美しい、そして人が優しい！

日本からは、06年D1GPチャンピオンの熊久保選手（今年は現在ランキング2位）、去年のD1GP最終戦で優勝した田中選手、D1GPリーガルで優勝経験のある末永直登選手（弟である末永正雄選手は現在D1GPランキングトップ）、06年D1GP2位の野村選手、女性ドリフターとして有名な村岡選手、そしてメカニックの井草さん（実はドライバーとしても有名で、D1GPライセンスも持っていた）、ヤンチャな髪型だから絶対に普通のリーマンではなく職人っていうことがバレバレのまーくん、R33で走ってスピンしみんなをゾッとさせたマサルさん、そしてアシスタントとして来ていたアキコさん、イギリスからはブリティッシュアクセントがかっこいいスリーピーさん、ロスからはボクとアントニオ、ギリシャからは陽気なのに腕や背中にはワルいタトゥー、だけどイギリスのウェールズ大学のMBAも持ってるジョン、超ハードワーキングなヴァージニア、どっからどーみても社長でしょ！って感じのコスタス（実際に社長）、そこにアテネのローカルのスタッフが加わったメンバーでのショーでした。　とにかく、人も食べ物も全てが最高でした。　もちろんショーも最高に成功しました。

I would like to say thank you to all the people that I went to Greece with.  From Japan,  Team Orange (2006 D1GP champion Nobushige Kumakubo, the winner of 2006 D1GP final round Kazuhiro Tanaka, the winner of D1GP street legal Naoto Suenaga), Team Blitz Ken Nomura, the most famous female drifter from Japan Natsuko Muraoka, Mitsuteru Igusa (he is a mechanic for Team Orange, but he used to have D1 license as well), Masaru (a mechanic for Tanaka, funny guy), Ma-kun (a mechanic with funny hair style), and Akiko (an assistant from Japan).   From UK, Mr. Sleepy from London(he has a british accent and he is Japanese!  Pretty cool!) and Antonio from Los Angeles.

I also would like to say thank you to;

Costas for taking such a good care of us.  Thank you for nice place to stay and great food.  I love Greece.

Virginia for always made sure everyone is confortable and have no problem.  Oh, and thank you for providing us a safe ride.  You are the best driver.   I miss Greece already.

Thomas for having S14, because you are the first S14 owner I met in Greece.  I hope I can buy S13 200SX in Greece, so I can say I have S13 in Japan, in United States, and in Greece!

John for......  pretty much everything.  Without John, this trip wasn't  as successful and as fun as it was.  This is an opinion not from just myselft, but from the whole team.  Thanks a lot homie.

Fillipa for keeping the team motivated.  Whenever you were at the pit, everyone seemed to have more smile on their face.  You are definitely one of the sweetest girls I met in Greece.

Marina for keeping it real.   For the people that dont know (I didnt know), hiphop people in Greece likes same shit that we like here in Los Angeles.  Marina went to Beastie Boys concert while we were in Miconos island.  Yea, Marina is down like that.

and all the people I met in Greece that I dont remember the name or I cannot pronounce the name, thank you.

Rob and I went to Meltdown Gallery on Sunset to drop off my art piece.

Sunset Blvdの某アートギャラリーへ。

１４日から１７日まで展示会があるんだけど、ボクもそれに参加するんで、作品を届けに。

内装も出来上がりつつあり……。

ブーッってベル鳴らさないとドアが開かない、隠れ家です。

ロビンの彼女の家族が経営してて、父はメルセデスのG、母はBMWの７、娘はレクサスのGXってファミリー。

へ～、面白いのがあるね、と思ったら値札には1200万円って。

Recently I've been driving Toyota FJ Cruiser.  Pretty cool car.

最近、FJクルーザー（↑）に乗ってます。

日本未発売のこのクルマ、なかなかイイです。　かわいい顔してます。　並行では入ってるんで、日本国内でも乗ってる人いますね。　原宿で数回見たことあります。

ただ、新車のくせに調子悪いんで、来週ギリシャ行くまで現車に乗って、戻ってきたらその日のうちに新しい車を取りにいくことにしました。　

色も黄色は飽きたんで、黒にしました。　交換ってことで。　ま、しばらく黄色に乗れたからいいか。　こういう時、メーカーに友達がいるとホント楽ですよね。　

Jay, Rob, and I went to eat breakfast at this restaurant on Sunset Blvd yesterday.  I've wanted to go there for like...... 3 days?  It was actually pretty good.

昨日は外でブレックファースト。

I didnt know they opened up one in L.A.!  I hella need to go there.

日本の超凄腕フォトグラファーであり友達の梅ちゃんと初めて渋谷の権八に行ってからというもの、プライベートでも仕事でも西麻布の権八には相当通ったな～。

今度、ロスの権八も絶対来ようっと！

ちなみに、一番好きな車はもちろんS13。　好きじゃなかったら、日本とアメリカに一台づつ買わないだろって。　日本のほうは維持費が……。　アメリカのほうがショップに置きっ放しだし。

So there you have it.  Thats my yesterday and today.

Oh, what did I do last night......?  I forgot.

Oh yeah, I bought 11 Japanese magazines yesterday, so I was reading them.

When it comes to magazines, I dont fuck around.  I want it, I get it.  thats how you get 11 magazines in one day.

After going to nacional, we went to Jimmy's Lounge, because our friend DJ Twist was spining there.

なぜなら、友達のDJ Twistが回してたから。

On Friday, we went to Beverly Hills, because I wanted to buy a belt.

Rob drove his Lexus.

金曜はビバリーヒルズなどへ。

We stopped by at KidRobot.

At night, we went to Sushi resraurant.

夜はシルバーレイクの某寿司屋へ。

After the dinner,we went to highlands in Hollywood.   

寿司を食べたら、ハリウッドのクラブへ。

It's a good club.  Everyone should come out on Friday night to highlands.  Good times.

親友がプロモートしているHighlands.ってクラブ。　

ブラックアイドピーズのアップルは毎年ここでバースデーパーティーしてますね。

Its on the way to Manmoth to catch some fish!

で、２AMにクラブ終了後、ボク達が向かった先は……。　（タンドラの時計見て！　２：４０AMね）

So, we went to Beverly Hills for the shopping, went to eat sushi, went to the club, and then I drove all the way down to Manmoth for the fish tournament that my friend Doug organized.

Yea, I slept on the boat.

そう、釣り！

友達がオーガナイズしてるフィッシング・トーナメントがあって、それに参加ってことで。

あの～、昨日の朝、ビバリーヒルズに行って、夕飯は寿司食べに行って、クラブ行って、夜通し運転して、全く寝てないんですけど…って状態の６AMからトーナメントスタート！

ボクはボートで寝ました……。

夜は焼肉ってことで、コリアタウンへ。

Good food and good service.

なかなか良いサービスのトコで。

I am a vegitalian (well, sometimes), so I didnt eat a lot of meat.

But hey, how can I say NO! to Gal-bee, right?

Fuck being a vegitalian.

Well, I still am vegitalian, sometims.

Its ok, I ate lots of salad.

なかなかおいしい肉で。

ボクはプチ・ベジタリアンなんで、ちょっとしか食べませんでしたが。　

最近はサラダが一番おいしいですね。　

間違いなくボクの主食は野菜になってます。　ご飯もあんま食べないし。　ご飯よりパンだな。　食物繊維が……。
